zephaniah 3, isaiah 57, hosea 11
hosea 11:4
I drew them with gentle cords,
With bands of love,
And I was to them as those who take the yoke from their neck.
I stooped and fed them.
God is a father to us, who does not stand on the high pedestal waiting for us to jump up to his level. the king of kings, stoops down to our level and feeds us, bringing us up to a higher level. let's also lay down our pride and self righteousness-es, humble ourselves and cast all our cares upon Him and be fed with heaven's best.
