God's love

"may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ," -Ephesians 3:18

I have come across this passage several times but only today I saw that power though the Spirit(vs.16) was needed to understand the love of Christ because this love surpasses knowledge(vs.19). Oh how great is the love the Father has lavished on us!

I was reading an article about God's passion for His people by John Ortberge and its says:

"God loves us not beacause we are beautiful; He loves with a love that makes us beautiful."
"It may be a very bad thing that I needed God to die for me. But it is wonderful thing that God thinks I'm worth dying for."
