food for the inner man

pastor mentioned a booklet by george muller on Soul Nourishment, and after angela emailed us the document, i was thankfully reminded to read it. here it is (the link's above), and it i believe it will bless you too, with a greater revelation of His Word.

Now, I saw that the most important thing I had to do was to give myself to the reading of the Word of God, and to meditation on it, that thus my heart might be comforted, encouraged, warned, reproved, instructed; and that thus, by means of the Word of God, while meditating on it, my heart might be brought into experiential communion with the Lord.

let's always remember to do the one thing needful - take from Jesus in all His fullness ("I have food that you do not know of"), be strengthened, refreshed and restored, and profit your inner man.
