- MSG v1 Mortals make elaborate plans, but God has the last word.

- AMP v3 Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.
- MSG v3 Put God in charge of your work,
then what you've planned will take place.

- AMP v9 A man's mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure.
- MSG v9 We plan the way we want to live,
but only God makes us able to live it.
