Trust little deeds. Do not despise these small beginnings (Zech 4:10 NLT)
Read an excerpt which Coach Maddy has selected for us. Got this story during the orientation games comm meeting which really inspires me.
The following are sentences in the story which speaks to my heart...
Sometimes, we do wonder, what I've done does make a difference? Dare you dream that you can make a difference?
God's answer would be, " Just do something and see what happens."
What difference will my work make?
God's answer: " Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin" (Zech 4:10 NLT)
Moses had a staff.
David had a sling.
Samson had a jawbone.
Rahab had a string.
Mary had some ointment.
Aaron had a rod.
Dorcas had a needle.
All were used by God.
What do you have?
God does big things with small deeds. HE inhabits the tiny seed, empowers the tiny deed. Thus, don't discount the smallness of your deeds.
Every little thing that you do, every little thing that you say, does make a difference! Cause whatever we do, shall prosper! =)
