v3-4, the KING said to Ziba the servant
v6-7, DAVID speaks to Mephibosheth
v9, the KING said to Ziba the servant
notice that whenever David spoke to Ziba the bible records it as the king, but when he speaks to Mephibosheth, he always speaks as David. and it is like our relationship with Jesus today. He doesnt come to us as someone high up there. He comes to us to befriend us, to be our saviour, our shepherd, our best friend, our lover, our all in all.
