Mark 13:3-13
The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age
- v11. Now when they take you [to court] and put you under arrest, do not be anxious beforehand about what you are to say nor [even ] meditate about it; but say whatever is given you in that hour and at the moment, for it is not you who will be speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
This is one time Jesus tells you NOT to meditate!!! LoL
I believe this verse can also be applied to sharing the gospel with others, and also when you are offering advice or counsel to others. No point trying to memorise sermon notes and preach to ppl. I believe the Holy Spirit will bring to your remembrance all things and teach you (John 14:26) what to say at the right time!
