Romans 1:16-17
The Just Live by Faith
- v16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
- AMP v16 For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God's power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek,
- MSG v17 God's way of putting people right shows up in the acts of faith, confirming what Scripture has said all along: "The person in right standing before God by trusting him really lives."

And be careful that when you get on each other's nerves you don't snap at each other. Look for the best in each other, and always do your best to bring it out.

A Brotherly and Orderly Life
- v10-12 "... But we urge you, brethren, that you increase more and more; that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing."

This is not from the Message. This is from New King James. "Mind your own business" is really written here. And I see this from 2 perspectives - not just getting involved in other ppl's affairs, but also getting other ppl involved in your own affairs.
And this rings true to me, not that I don't care about others, or that I'm anti-social, but rather, we already have the One Who is with us always, and some journeys are meant to be walked alone with Him, and "you will lack nothing".
Also, getting other ppl involved at times can lead to disappointment when you don't get the kind of response/help that you are looking for - ppl can fail you too (John 2:23-25).

This is a verse which Minhuey shared with me during my stay at the hospital and it speaks to me... exactly!

and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
As I read this verse over and over again to look into the indepth meaning of it.. i heard Daddy God telling me this... why not put Jesus into the verse...
Praise the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits given by Jesus-
Jesus, who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
Jesus, who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
Jesus, who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
When I read and saw this, I am so amazed! That night's sleep in my ward was the best and the sweetest! I can just feel that Jesus is sitting beside me, watching over me as I sleep... well tugged in bed.
